Really friendly staff, pick-up and drop-off from the airport. Lots of good advice on where to go and what to eat. The cars were really clean and well serviced. My only criticism is the Fiat isn't powerful enough for the hills on the island. Trying to reverse uphill nearly ended in disaster as the car couldn't handle it!

Although our flight was delayed and baggage tardy we found our Hire Car man waiting for us out of hours. The cars are off Airport and offices clean and tidy. Cars are immaculate and paperwork waiting....privately owned and run this is the best far above the "big boys"...upon return the deposit is returned and you are driven to the Airport. Keep it local and use this Car Hire Company. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent service, a really good car for exploring the island. Just one minor detail: the rental agency is NOT in the airport terminal, so instead of looking for an office, look for a guy wearing a "micauto" sign...

All of the micauto staff were very friendly. They respond to emails very quickly and were very accommodating with my requests. They do require a small deposit to secure the car booking, but it went very smoothly as I was able to use my credit card over the phone instead of doing a bank transfer. A 1000 euro hold on my credit card was required as well since I chose the most basic insurance option. A staff member was waiting for us with a micauto sign at the airport right in front of the arrivals door and promptly took us to this location which is their airport location (they also have a downtown location). The car we received was in the A1 class, a Citroën c1, and had small damages but the staff told us about them and marked down any additional damages we saw. He also helped with showing us how to work the lights and how to open the gas door. The car itself functioned fine, had approximately 20000 kms on it, and was incredibly fuel efficient (we drove almost 400km over hilly terrain and only filled around 20 litres, which worked out to be around 30 euros). It did have some tough times going up certain hills as expected, but it was not bad at all. On return, the staff was very friendly and did a quick inspection of the car, confirmed the gas level, and sent us back to the airport with no issues. Overall a great experience with micauto, I would definitely rent with them again in the future if I ever come back to this amazing island!!

Got old (6y) and damaged car, broken antena, wipers didn't work. A lot of scratches around car. Overall experience very bad. We missed connection flight and nobody picked phone although we tried multiple times. Next morning they wasn't sure if they have car for us.
