Rented a race bike here three times. Excellent service, very flexible and good quality bikes and gear. Very knowledgeable about the area and good biking rides. One day I made a very long ride and they picked up the bike at my home in Lagos as I couldn't cycle to Alvor. Highly recommend.

I cannot find the words to fully describe the kind welcome, the local knowledge and the professionalism that Thomas and Katrina displayed to me as I walked into the shop that first time. Friendly and profession they made the whole experience a joy. From booking and selecting the equipment to the end of an excellent day of riding I could not fault a single thing. I highly recommend the company and eagerly await until this pandemic is finished so I can get to ride the routes again.

I rented a carbon road bike from SunBikeTours last week and I was very impressed with the equipment, service and value from the owners Katja and Thomas. The bike was in perfect working condition and had all the accessories needed to get going, even bottles included with cold water straight from the fridge. I received a lot of advice on which routes to take up to Foia and Monchique which worked out a lot better than my pre-planned routes I had in my Garmin. The weather of course is fantastic in the Algarve and I had a great day riding up to Foia and back using the recommended much safer route. SunBikeTours are highly recommended and I will be coming back next time I am in the area.

We rented 2 touring bikes from SunBikeTours last week and had a great time touring around Alvor, Portimao and Ferragudo. The bikes were both maintained superbly and fitted out by Thomas before we left the shop. Katja kindly gave us in-depth advice on the route to follow, what to watch out for, where to stop for coffee etc. which was very much welcomed. We were extremely happy with the service provided and we would highly recommend them to anyone interested in renting quality bikes in the Western Algarve.

We decided to hire bikes on our summer family holiday in Alvor and we were very impressed by Sunbike tours. They helped to provide a great range of bikes at an amazingly good value but also went that step further to help advise on a scenic cycling route. We really loved our cycling time as a family and was able to experience the amazing sights. I would highly recommend sunbike tours for any cycling needs you have.
