Three of us had a great stay here. We got a private room with a private bathroom for 20 euro each, which was very reasonable. The man working on reception gave us some great recommendations for the area.
(25) a bit too moist
I stayed here for a night in a room with private bathroom with shower for 20 euro. Although we didn't speak the same language, the staff was friendly and helpful. All and all, a good stop along the Camino
The only affordable place to stay in Alverca for pilgrims on the route to Santiago (Camino de Portuguese). We tried the CEBI Foundation and were basically turned away. We paid 20 euros each for a clean room with two single beds. It is close to some cheap restaurants, a McDonald's and Pengo. The owner is kind and will stamp your credentials.
Good value for money (I paid 15 for a single room). The place is actually quite clean, rooms without a bathroom share one among 3, which is not too bad. They provided me with lots of blankets and a heather (which is not common). Not 5 star becaude their wifi was very poor and basically didn't work.
Basic, clean but can be hard to find from camino route
Nice place to stay.
