I went here before lockdown was put into place. when i went, my family loved it because we all got what we want. the milkshakes are amazing and so are the chips. i recommend this place more than anywhere else

Very nice area, beautiful view, I will come on weekdays, they r a bit rude during weekends when it’s crowded, they can make you wait for more than an hour in the sun without telling you there is a list or people are waiting in front of u, they don’t even bother to stop and talk to u while waiting at the entrance. When we asked for how long we will wait, the lady almost screamed at us .. for the first time I felt of hitting the waiter ( woman).. I went again on a Monday to have a honest review about their service, and it was easy, fast and good food .. so it’s excellent only on weekdays.
I've only had the fish tacos and the chicken wings, but believe me, you don't need anything else. I drive 40 minutes just to get here! And it's al says worth it. Great staff, quick service, brilliant food, and all on a placid, beautiful lakeside. 5 stars all the way.
Just had a drink at the Shack and it was great. Perfect setting with excellent customer service with a smile. We'll definitely be going back for something to eat!
The Shack is a great location to have a few drinks and snacks at Sunset with friends or family. Day time the location also caters to families with kids with paddle boats, sail boats, and floating assault courses to occupy the kids which is supervised by lifeguards. There are sunbeds which you can rent, beach beds with umbrellas. Live music is usually staged at The Shack during the summer months 3 days a week from 4.308pm. My favourite snacks are the Sweet Potato Fries, and Spicy Chicken Wings, and an extremely sinful dessert is the Chocolate Brownie Ice Cream, the Brownie comes hot and Ice Cream placed on top (delicious!). Staff are very friendly and helpful. Usually waiting time for a bench and table is around 2030 mins at peak times. Other options are have a drink at the beach bar whilst you wait.
Lovely location but the staff need a rocket up them, too slow and casual! We walked away yesterday having waited for ages as they walked backwards and forwards past us without looking us in the eye to give us any information as to where to sit etc, the place was quiet with lots of empty tables but your asked by signs to wait to be seated, which is OK if they can be bothered to talk to you but they couldn't so it's their loss, won't be bothering again, smells by the edge anyway from stagnant water. We stopped there Saturday and it was fine but yesterday spoilt it so "laters" as they say

Manufactured beach and water play area around lake. Nicely done. Suitable for families. Good food, well presented. High- ish prices typical of this area. Friendly relaxed atmosphere.
