The setting of this restaurant is right on the beach so we ordered cocktails watching the sunset. The food was delicious especially the tuna, very fresh and tasty. The sea bass was huge so you won’t leave hungry. Oh and the goats cheese starter .. wow. I highly recommended this place.

Went on Sunday for lunch, great food and service, lovely friendly waiters, fantastic atmosphere, live music. Watched the owner recently on BBC Breakfast saying how Covid 19 was affecting businesses in the Algarve, just so thrilled to see it busy and buzzing! Highly recommended.
We had very high expectations following our visits 1 and 2 years ago. Unforfunately either the food deteriorated, or we simply discovered far better restaurants (e.g. 2 Passos). The food was OK, but not a bit above that. If not for the extraordinary location and vibrant atmosphere (Sunday live music, which made it impossible to talk), the rating would have been lower. Pity...
A lovely beachside restaurant serving fresh, delicious seafood in a great setting. Sunbeds are available just below (20) with a little snack shack for some quick refreshments. We had intended to only stay for the morning, but were so comfortable and satisfied with everything, we ended up staying the entire day!
Been visiting Maria’s for some time now however last night was so disappointing. Good food but service was very amateur. Great table - front centre so in clear view of staff. Wine served to the gentlemen first, missed out one of our diners altogether. Very slow table service. Astonishingly, the table next to us were asked when they would be vacating their table.... they were sitting waiting for their dessert which hadn’t been served! Sorry Miguel.... not a great experience. There are other restaurants who are far more attentive to their diners and to detail.
We only had drinks there, but it was lovely. Staff very nice.
Fantastic food and great service. View isn't so bad also :)
